The first study of adsorption of methylene blue by Black Titania nanoparticle in aqueous solution

In this study, the elimination of methylene blue (MB) by adsorption on Black Titania (B-TiO2) in an aqueous solution dark room is investigated. Preparation B-TiO2 was carried out via reduction white TiO2 NaBH4 a tube furnace under inert gas atmosphere at 600°C. Characterization absorbent XRD, N2 adsorption-desorption, SEM mapping, photoluminescence, EDX analysis, Zeta potential, DLS, and FT-IR. The maximum capacity found to be 88.65 mg g−1. rate-limiting step intra-particle diffusion stage. observed conditions: 26 pH 6 MB concentration 10 L−1. It demonstrated that might recycled six times with very good results while keeping its high removal efficiency.
